The Summer 07 Guide Part I : Shorts

I’m sure most of you can’t wait to break out of those gates on that last Friday afternoon, which would mark the beginning of your uber-glamorous 8 week summer holiday. Whether you’re strolling the streets of a fabulous city (New York! London!), or digging your toes in the sand in sunny Ibiza, there’s one common factor to make sure of: look great!

Here are some tips for looking effortlessly chic during your action packed time away from Brunei.

Okay because there’s so much to talk about I’m choosing one topic per post. This one is about shorts! Okay short – shorts were everywhere this season, make sure you pack a pair in your suitcase. Don’t make the mistake of pairing this already revealing piece with a tank top and then some 6-inch stilettos. This season’s shorts call for a boxier shape and a more feminine silhouette so, top off with a trapeze jacket. And since the short-shorts are already sexy, so make sure you get one in a subdued colour to keep it classy and not on the verge of hoochie like LOOK AT ME fuschia pink (i.e. Choose neutral tones like white, grey, taupe etc), and this is also helpful since it will easily match most of your wardrobe.

1. Dressy shorts - Grab a structured pair with some cuffs, minimal details and with greyish undertones.

I love the second pair of shorts, it's a gorgeous colour and looks really cute with flats and a swingy a-line silhoutte on top.

2. Casual Shorts - These are a really easy look to pull off, just throw on a pretty but relaxed shirt on top and you're all set (just no flip flops please! )

Do take note that white is a very hot colour for short-shorts! I looove the James Perse shorts, they may look similar but the Mint shorts look more khaki-casual, wheares the other more city-casual. Notice the little pocket detail on the Mint shorts? Very cargo like. I would recommend wearing this with a long t-shirt or a t-shirt dress, like on the right, so fresh and now! They also look really cute with a pair of round toe flats!

3. Dark shorts - For those of you not brave enough to try lighter colours, try dark shades. Incase you don't want to show your legs and would prefer them covered up, slip on a pair of opaque tights, they look better with darker shorts.

Personally, I think dark shorts are nice but only if you're going to the city. They're far too serious and sophisticated for the beach or on a tropical island.

4. Metallic shorts- To add a bit of shine and glamour to your look, sneak a pair of shiny shorts into your outfit but stop there. Don't do any more metallic or you'll end up looking like Goldust (is that the really gold wrestler's name)

I gravitate towards silver shorts more than gold ones. See at left, it looks really pretty how it's paired with a romantic loose white top.

Russian Beauty

When I ripped open my June/July issue of TeenVOGUE I was so pysched to see they did a two page spread on Sasha Pivovarova! I looove her! Anyway to those not in the know Sasha is a Russian supermodel who appeared on the highly coveted issue of Vogue's "supermodel" issue, which I was very disappointed with! The spread was very boring and unimaginative, white and grey backgrounds with so-so clothes. But the girls still did look great.

She is also one of Prada's muses; quite evident since she's still running the ads since F/W 05.

I think she's really gorgeous, though she's been compared to Gemma one too many times. I can see the similarity but Gemma has more of that innocent doll-like face and Sasha is more striking.

Plus, I think Sasha can pull off edgier editorials better like this one! She's really a chameleon!

She's also been on a number of Vogue covers. Unlike boring US Vogue that showcases the most uninteresting CELEBRITIES, yes CELEBRITIES (like Keira Knightley! Ew WHY?!), Vogue China, Paris Vogue, etc will put actual MODELS, yes MODELS, so you'll always get a chance to see your favorite model on a non American Vogue cover.

I also like that she seems like such a genial person, she's not one of those supermodel divas like er Naomi Campbell Miss-I-wear-fur-and-Blahniks-doing-community-service. Also she's really into art which I think is cool because usually it's so easy to typecast models as being a blank person with no real interests. She says that she 'loves to draw' and wants 'to be an artist'. Well whatever you do, make sure you stick around for next season!

Well I haven't blogged here in like weeks! Anyway, this post is just going to be short because Angelina Jolie just wore a bright yellow dress at the Cannes Film Festival! Okay I know that sounds really silly, but Brad's beau is rarely seen off and on the red carpet without shades of black or grey or basically anything neutral. nevertheless she looks gorgeous 100% of the time, but it's lovely to see her break from the black and try on a little colour because she is just so beauuuutiful!

The Trugly

I was having a conversation with my sister over the weekend; we were flipping through some Japanese fashion magazines that she brought in from Japan. At first I was a bit reluctant since I strongly disliked most Japanese fashion, but the ones in my magazine was actually a bit classier. Another thing I was surprised with was how up to date they were with the Spring/Summer ads.

So as we flipped through, my sister made a remark that all designer bags are actually quite ugly. I don’t know what possessed her to say such an extremity such as that, but I have to say there has been a number of occasions when I look at a designer bag and I go “was he drunk when he did that?!

So one that I really noticed was the Prada ads (starring Sasha Pivovarova!!) oh and I loooved the Prada spring runway with the silk turbans and silk microminis and tops and brown leather belts, but I did NOT like the new Prada Fringe Bag. SO this is what I mean by a Trugly; Trendy but Ugly. It’s always quite interesting to see who can resist a trugly. So far two very stylish women couldn't.

I really don't know how high I'd wear my pants. I don't mind high waisted skirts, but I'm a bit skeptical that the high-waisted pant is all that flattering. Well, some of today's style icons are ready to take on the risk. After seeing it first on the runway at Chloe's Spring/Summer RTW show, I knew it was gonna be a trend celebrities would start embracing.

"I can't promise you'd look as good as I do"

And as with most trends, it's so interesting to see how the person interprets it and choose how to wear it and whether they look stupid or actually chic.

This is actually my favorite look by Mary Kate Olsen. I love the 70's vibe she has going on with the pin strips and the Ray-Bans.

I also like Keira's look even though I can't stand her, but anyway I like the buttons and how she balanced the volume of the pants with a skinny striped tee.

On the other hand, you might end up looking like this. I don't think anyone should wear pants with puffy pockets.

Oh Mischa... Mischa, Mischa. High-waisted DENIM? and TIGHT? Yeah that's a definite don't.

I'd recommend non-denim and baggy. Let's see how this phases out.

The Big White Shirt

So here's some exciting news: GAP, in the style of Topshop and HNM's collaborations, are introducing the Gap Designe Editions which is their first major foray with fashion desginers. And the designers are *Drum roll* Thakoon Panichgul who made such a scene in spring with his flowers and rosette inspired clothes, Doo Ri Chung and the designers of Rodarte Kate and Laura Mulleavy, who have all won the CFDA/VOGUE Fashion Fund Award.

I'm so so so excited because I looooove white shirts they are so classic and versatile. GAP has given us a glimpse of the white shirts on the May issue of Vogue with -- YES no celebs -- MOMs (models of the moment). Take a lookie

I'm sure that if you are a fashion lover you will know all these models I mean obviously they're not as famous at the supermodel era of the 90's but you should know. left to right; Lily Donaldson, Hilary Rhoda, (top) Doutzen Kroes, (bottom) Sasha Pivovarova, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmerman, Jessica Stam (bottom), Chanel Iman (top), Coco Rocha and Agyness Deyn. (I'm still kinda upset that they didn't include Irina and Freja though...)

I love most of them especially Lily and Jessica (her eyes are stunning!) but unfortunately she just HAS to date "DJ AM" yuck. I mean could you find a faster way to ruin your image? Anyway I really love Caroline Trentini's shirt I looove poufy shirts after I saw this Stella McCartney one on the runway...

Oh what a wonderful idea! Everyone's favorite style icon Kate Moss has collaborated with high-end store Topshop and for the previews Kate has used her best friend fringe-alicious model Irina Lazareanu. SO here are some pics!

Personally, I really love it from the loose boyfriend pants and matching vest to the floral minidress and the one shouldered 50's inspired white dress. Not so sure about the colored denim though but that seems to be a trend so hey at least she hits that note.

Right now I am in love with an upcoming trend: patent! But I prefer it in small doses, usually on shoes or belts. No patent trenchcoats please. My (very late) BGIC follow-up

Ever since May Anne reminded me I've been feeling very guilty that I have not been true to my last promise that I would make a "Best of BGIC" post. Haha. Well as most of you know I'm all talk. Anyway I didn't take that many picture but there were some very nice outfits at BGIC and my best dressed award would have to go to Ms. Grachee, the delegate of Norway. I did see a number of vests which I loved and the good thing was there were different types.

Mine was a corset like vest and Weier's was a single-breasted dark grey vith princess collars. Here's a picture:

Unfortunately that's about everything I took. There weren't many stand out outfits but given that's not what the conference was about I can barely blog here. But yes I will definitely take more pictures next year -- (all talk).

Frantic, last-minute shopping

Well actually it wasn't that frantic. And it's not actually that last-minute. But it sure makes for a good interesting title. Anyhoos, today my mom made me go shopping to look for clothes to wear for the ISB BGIC, which is less than two weeks away (omg!!)

So first I made a stop at British India.

It's really nice and it wasn't that crowded with people which was great, but it's so pricey! Like shirts and pants range from 80-120 or so. It's such a struggle to find clothes that fit me because for my height, I am a size 0/1/2... I tried on a nice pair of tweed pants in size three and omg it was so ill-fitting! It was so baggy at the places where it should be snug and it was ten times too long for me! Ouch.

But then I managed to find a pair of black skinny pants in size 1. Whew. And I also bought a corset-esque vest top which was a size 1 and in black as well, I wanted a dark grey but they didn't have one in that colour. Oh well. Here is a picture of the vest top, it looks like a hooker top but it's not if you wear it with a shirt -- (you can't really see, but the details make it look nicer)

but what I really wanted was an outfit like this :

After that, I went to this place where they sold material and picked up a few metres of some beige pinstripe and some dark grey material as well.

Then, I went to Hokko Textiles ( I love that place they have the best materials!)

There I bought some cream cotton to make a short sleeve shirt for my beige pants. But then I found out that Hokko can make clothes for you as well and they even have this humongous sewing book with all sorts of styles so I was like wow they can easily make stuff for me! But since they were extremely busy with all these projects they were a bit unsure that they could finish it by the 2nd, so I said they could finish it by the 3rd instead. With my cream cotton I am making a short sleeved fitted shirt with peter pan collars... because I always loved this look (see below) from a Chloe runway,seasons ago.

And the pants I made it to be a little flared but not too snug as it wasn't stretchy material... I'm hoping it'd kinda look like these pair of Chloe pants.

And lastly, the grey skirt, I want it to be high waisted, kinda like it's from the 40's, with a straight cut. I haven't made that yet but I sorta want it to be like this Topshop skirt but I don't know if I could find (or make) a belt in time

I will make another post soon about dressing smart and formal, but at the same time, chic.

I have never been a fan of fluorescent yellow or bright lime green, but splashed all over the fall runways, I think that in doses, it looks very chic. At Tommy Hilfiger (great collection, will post photos later), after a year and a half hiatus, he returns with a bang, incorporating bits of neon colours along with neutrals like tweed and grey knits. I love the neon shoes which he mostly paired with minidresses and dark tights.

Also another sportyAmerican desginer who used sneaked in bright colours in his collection is Michael Kors. Amidst trenches and anoraks trimmed in fur and leather jackets and structured suits, he used things from bright clutches to a chunky sweater underneath.

Paris Spring 2007 Couture

As the Academy Awards are just around the corner, big designers race to dress the ultra fabulous for one of the most prestigious nights of showbusiness. Intricate detailing, hand-painted silk gowns, designers debuted their haute couture lines in Paris a few days ago. Only a few fashion houses do couture as it is extremely expensive, and can be as long as six figures; the six houses so far are Christian Dior, Elie Saab, Givenchy, Chanel, Valentino and Christian Lacroix. Up soon is Armani Prive and Jean Paul Gaultier. Old fashion houses that have been running for generations and have built up a name as one of the best of haute couture.

So there's this new trend that I've been noticing lately, and I'm not really a big fan of it rather I think it 's kinda... hmm... strange, of course some pieces may be a work of art.. but I wonder what we are really going to wear in the future... Is the stereotypical image of us in all things shiny and metallic and aline geomatrical mini dresses really going to come true? well Pierre Cardin and Paco Rabanne seem to think so; well here are a few looks to get you to adapt to what you're gonna wear in 30 years time --

Golden Globe Dresses!

I know it's a bit late, but I haven't found the time because there has been no stupid internet! Anyway to who watched the Golden Globes, wasn't it the bomb but sadly I didn't get to watch the red carpet bit at the beginning and I didn't see everyone who's anyone's dresses. But there were so many gorgeous dresses and I can't choose my favorite! so I'll just show all of them teeheeeheee...

Firstly I loved America's dress and I was so happy she won! Awww... I got so teary, anyway I like the jewel tone of her Brian Reyes dress.

I loved Reese's dress, when I saw it I was like that's so cute! She wore a vivid yellow Nina Ricci dress... I did think though that it was a different style for her as she always opts for demure vintage-inspired looks.
And my gosh was there an abundance of white gowns or what! Everyone from Kyra Sedgwick (whose white dress was my favorite) to Nicolette to Teri and Salma and Kate and Heidi to Ali Larter!

Oh and worst dressed -- Beyonce is one of them, I mean there were millions of gold dresses from Elie Saab's spring pret-a-porter collection, but the one she chose was oh-so-unflattering, and even she did not look usually gorgeous that night... tsk tsk And Rinko Kikuchi's pom pom dress was just plain weird...

And before I go I also loved Hayden Panettiere's dress! It was all Grecian-esque! I love it but I can't find a picture of it sadly! I will post one up if i do!

O me gawds, I was looking through net-a-porter and found these pair of Jimmy Choo's that uncannily resembles a new pair of Charles and Keith shoes I bought. Hmm I bet they copied it off Jimmy Choo teehee

But its really similar with the toe thong, and the white and gold, as well as a buckle fastening ankle strap! Ooo wow.

Sorry I haven't blogged in like gazillion years but I've just been SOOOOO busy doing nothing!
Anyway I'm not really into the skinny jean thign anymore, I mean if it looks good on you I guess you can keep it around for a while longer, but i've moved on to wide legged jeans! I think they're super cute but still sophisticated i like the ones with suspenders. I've seen them all over the spring runways and here are some--

A little singing, a lot of tears, and a state of depression

Over the course of this week I've watched three films (I know so little, it IS the holidays), and I think they are soooo good that I have to blog about them,

The first that I watched was like on Wednesday and that was Moulin Rouge! Omg I love it so much I was obsessed with it I downloaded like practically the whole soundtrack, even though it hasn't finished yet, god, downloading songs illegally through the internet never works for me!

Anyway that movie left me crying so much that I had to wipe my tears on my t-shirt and I stretched the collar so much! there weren't any tissues around... so yeah, anyway it was really good, the music was fantastic, I mean a romance set in Paris! what could be better? As always the beautiful Ms. Kidman was brilliant, and you just fall in love with ewan McGregor, as a passionate penniless writer...the ending was so sad... But i really enjoyed the film, even though I was watching it alone... anyway my favorite three songs were the Elephant Medley, Your Song and Come What May.... I can't stop watcing them on YouTube!

oh and my favorite quote.. of course

and now moving on to the second film-- Yesterday I went to the cinema with Hui Yen, Azim, Ishan and Jake to catch the 1.30 show of the Holiday! And yes I love it so much! At first I thought it was about switching husbands but no, it was about switching homes and how that can really change your life. so I entered the cinema not knowing exactly what the story was about Jude Law is so handsome, and so charming even though he was so drunk when we first see him, but you just fall in love with him when you see him in his glasses and with his children and he is a W-I-D-O-W-E-R... awww And I just loved the whole cast, Kate Winslet was really good (as always) and Cameron Diaz as well, her character was so amusing, not being able to cry and all... and Jack Black surprised me, sometimes I find it hard to see him in a role that didn't involve him looking stupid

And the ending was sooo lovely, I cried so much, hahahaha at the cinema... I have to say I'm not fond of public displays of emotions but I couldn't keep it in... Anyway I'm so glad I watched this and can't wait for the sountrack to come out cause it was sooo pretty! But it's coming out in January '07 so I guess I'll just have to wait....

And the last film that I watched was last night, it was a very sad film but surprisingly I didn't cry. It's called My Life Without Me an indie film, it's about this 23 year old high school janitor, who finds she has a tumour and has like only two to three months left to live. And she keeps it from everyone, including her husband and two children. She then makes a list of things she wanted to do before she died... you feel so depressed through the entire film because there are some ironic moments when the husband says something like "I know that everything's just going to get better" and she's secretly dying. then she makes tapes for everyone, and for her two girls she made birthday tapes for until they were 18! it was so sweet... and they were so poor as well... living out of a trailer... tsk tsk

She also managed to tick another thing off her list which was to make another man fall in love with her. She met him at a laundromat (how romantic) but then she fell in love with him too... but he doesn't know she's dying... In the end, we don't see her die rather just see the people who have just lost her, and they looked so sad, it was so depressing, but it was a good indie film, imagining what your life would be like without you...

And not to go to sleep on a sad note, I finished off the night with Will & Grace episodes. So funny...

now what movie should I watch next....

Erickson Beamon

I don't wear much jewelry, I'm usually more obsessed with saving money to buy clothes, but recently I've just sort of become more into jewelry when I see them on sites online. Maybe I've never really been into accessories because everytime I step into a jewelry store in Brunei I see horrible stuff and I rarely see nice ones. So when I DO see really pretty ones, I'm just like wow! Teeheee... my favorite necklace at the moment is this chainlinked layered belt which I use as a necklace (innovation!) that's from New York... I lost it a while ago but now I found it again! yay =)

and now I've been crazily looking on the internet for nice long neckalces and I stumbled upon this really cool designer which makes really nice jewelry and I'm so into their necklaces cause they really make a statement. I really like jewelry that can make a simple outfit, cause it takes so little time to just throw on some bracelets or a necklace!!

Anyway the designer is called Erickson Beamon and it was created by two New Yorkers waaay back in 1983. Here are some of my favs (and I'm gonna put a picture of it being worn on an outfit... see how it just makes it look so much better?!);

"Dear Santa, for this year, I want you to make it pourand drizzle and snow in the tropical climate of Brunei so I can wear these fabulous coats! Thank you!"

That would have been my letter to Father Christmas if ever I believed in him, (I don't think I ever did)... anyway, if I ever hated clothes or fashion it would be because I couldn't wear so much of the stuff cause it would be too hot here... people would just stare at you like you're out of your mind, I mean why IS she wearing those gorgeous flat knee-high suede boots when its 57 degrees out there. Oh well... one can drool. Anyway I've always loved coats, especially double breasted ones. And one of my favorites is a really lovely one Jennifer Lopez' s character wore in Maid in Manhattan... OK Something is wrong with me, I am swamped with work and NOW I am updating my blog?! Well anyhoos, I was thinking of what to get for my upcoming 14th birthday on January 13th (Mark you calendars! Hehe) and I wanted to buy a sewing machine. I probably can't afford those high tech ones, so maybe one in the range of 3-400... I guess that could buy me one good enough for an amateur. But it would be super wonderful to have my own sewing machine! I can make my own clothes, and then I would label them "Ivory Lace"! Hehe. The only things I can think of making right now are with materials that you can find here like cotton and silk and chiffon. So I have a lot of ideas for stuff like shirtdresses, slip dresses, silk shirts and tops, shorts and etc. Here are some pictures of clothes that could be attainable to make.

No! I'm so sad that AJ is out! I really thought that she should win this season. She's different and absoloutely gorgeous! But I suppose that she doesn't let go of her image too easily, like she's too intent on being seen as dark and edgy and all, but in the modeling world, you're basically just a doll that the editor makes up. It's just really sad for me to see her leave because I really loved her and she took AMAZING shots and she is beauuutiful! I think she looks gorg with her Linda Evangelista hair but then she has to go and spike it up... sigh... Here are some pictures of her, I love the first picture, which is the last one she took in ANTM... she looks glamorous there, but I don't think she wants to look glam.

I love sweaters. Like I love them. They fancy up any look, you can throw them over t-shirts and jeans for a cool-casual feel, or you can dress them up with a nice full skirt to look like you're from the 50's. Either way, sweaters are great. I love sweaters. And what other country is better to wear sweaters in than cold & windy Brunei? Sigh. If only that were true. Open Water

So today, I didn't go to school, and I don't feel that much better, but I was really bored just lying around in bed so I decided to go downstairs and switch on the TV. I flicked through the movie channels and saw Open Water was on. I've always wanted to watch it since at the cinema last year we changed our movie to AVP instead (god that movie was terrible). So finally I watched Open Water, it lasted for liek 80 minutes and well... I don't understand the ending!

That was what Rotten Tomatoes AND Astro said, so what does it mean then? Like were there really no sharks at all? But in the end some fisherman cut up a shark and found a camera so it WAS real. Anyway I'm so so confused, because someone once told me the ending was like Blair Witch Project, so I was assuming there was some kind of twist. Which there wasn't. Well if there wasn't supposed to be some kind of twist I thought the movie was good, it was really sad, and so scary. Gosh I fear for sharks now! Well I always have anyway... And the ending was unpredictable, and I liked how it wasn't such a Hollywood film, you know like in your face scariness but it was still good. I do recommend this film but I think it's very different from Jaws.

Yay! So I've finally watched Veronica Mars episodes 3x01 "Welcome Wagon" and 3x02 "My Big Fat Greek Rush Week" and it' s great! Still full of attitude and wit, Veronica takes on Hearst College in the 3rd Season. And even though the new guy Piz is cute I so don't want to see Logan and Veronica (LoVe - cute eh?) break up! Logan is sooo hot in that tortured and sarcastic way of his, I mean his mom committed suicide, his dad murdered his girlfriend and his dad ended up getting murdered. Tortured enough?

So Nisa, you can blog about it too now! Hahah... well yesterday Nisa & I went out with a few friends to Charcoal because Azim's mom was belanjaing and it was quite fun. Just that they picked us up half an hour late. Hahah... and Greg and Hazim ate so much, we were scared they were about to throw up on us. Here goes... Lindsay Lohan is the best dressed! Whew... okay well as much as it hurt to say that... because frankly I do not like the girl... I mean she is so so so so talented and pretty but WHY waste it by acting so trashy and partying all night long until your well-respected co-stars (Jane Fonda, William H. Macy) have to publicly scold you... sheesh... well anyway, adding to looks and talent is her style.... for her age it's definitely appropriate and she really has some range, she can go from looking classy and feminine to cool and edgy.... Anyway, I saw one of her outfits and I really liked it... she was wearing a short grey raincoat dress with dark grey tights and black suede ankle boots... here are some pictures...

La belle vie - Paris Fashion Week!

I love Paris in the springtime, I love Paris in the fall, I love Paris in the summer when it sizzles, I love Paris in the winter when it drizzles... well you know how it goes.

Yay Paris Fashion Week! Some more Spring Pret-a-porter collections to drool over! So far I've seen Rick Owens, and frankly I'm not very impressed. I didn't love it, the pure-white organdy asymmetric jackets, crunched up around the neck and gathered into a peplum in back, were paired with complex handkerchief-point or draped skirts, striding leggily out on shaggy-chiffon were sorta cute. But some of his looks for the collection had this funnel hood that was veiled over the models faces, I did not like that... Here's a picture...

I liked Balmain's collection though, they made their mark when Audrey Tatou wore a cropped white dress to the Cannes Film Festival. Their Spring '07 collection is filled with those types of dresses, aimed at young people; strapless dresses, short, one shouldered... etc. He also did not skimp out on the hardware; gold chains, silver sequins, brass studs were plenty. Here are some of my favorite looks...

Milan Fashion Week (Part II)

So I have to do Milan Fashion Week in a few parts because its too much to do under one post. Part II i'm gonna talk about Bottega Veneta. So far this is my favorite collection I've seen!

I love love love it, understated and luxurious, Tomas Maier has done a beautiful job on the collecetion with a subtle beige-through-rose palette. I wish I could put in all the looks at Bottega Veneta but if I put on too many pictures something goes wrong... sighh... well here are some of my favorites.... (oh and I also love the runway!)

As Milan Fashion Week 2007 is wrapping up, here are some of my favorite looks from the pret-a-porter (ready-to-wear) Spring 2007 collections.

Burberry Prorsum (weird, I thought they were showing in Paris Fashion Week)

I really liked Burberry's collection; the clothes changed from the start to the end. It began with some neutral shades and then later throughout the collection there was more color, but it was always soft and never too bright but with some metallics and shine here and there. I loved some of the male looks as well.

And then some pastelic colours are introduced...

Sighh... wonder if the guys here would ever wear those two outfits! I love them! So preppy and chic but for the 2nd look I would swap the trendy silver shirt for a classic white one.

I heart NY! Yes I do, love love love this city and as a way to salute New York (Thank you for Fashion Week 2007 New York!) here's one of my favorite blooming New York based designers and my favorite pieces from his recent collections.

1. 3.1 Phillip Lim

(i) Cropped Trench Style Jacket

Cute lilac cropped cotton trench style jacket with three quarter length sleeves and dark double-breasted buttons on front.

(ii) Cowl Neck Sweater Dress

Mostly you see sweater dresses being paired with tights and leggings, not that I mind that, but i love this look with loose pants. This looks very sophisticated and I've always loved sweaters.... and oh yay that's the Chloe Paddington Shopper! (see the post before this)

1. The Paddington Shopper by ChloeSuper sized padlock, distressed scrunchy leather, gold and silver hardware. Need I say more?

2. The Intrecciato Shopper by Bottega Veneta

Bottega Veneta actually do not name their bags; Intrecciato is the name given to the intricately hand woven leather.

3. The Stam by Marc Jacobs

Ahh last but not least, the Stam bag. I love this, named after Canadian model Jessica Stam and inspired by vintage handbags. Looks great with a knit polo or bubble skirt... wish I had one..

I probably could never afford them (they range from $1000 - $3000!), but oh isn't it nice to dream?
